when i stumbled upon this video 5 years ago i was only starting with digital art and this motivated me so much!! i didnt even realise there were so many techniques, principles and overall so much work and passion put into wonderful pieces like these!! 5 years later i am still in awe and nowhere near as good but im so glad i stuck around with art and had the pleasure of working on so many great things. needles to say, one day ill make it and ill learn even the wonders of adobe animate, thank you so much for showing this video to the world ❤❤❤

dam this is insane, you animated neeko without even the photoshop file, just from an image. fascinating How much work behind a simple animation that usually us people dont even care about

Very nice but my biggest gripe is there's too much movement thatthe whole animation doesn't feel peaceful and natural anymore. Compare it to the original login screen where the movements are subtle.

It saddens me how stuff like this is becoming less and less appreciated as people rather turn to poorly made AI versions. Something like this takes deep knowledge of the programs they're using, skills in both painting and animation and understanding of character acting. All of that is thrown out the window by a machine that doesn't grasp any of it and just thinks of what hex code pixel tends to go where in a given prompt.

I always loved creating animation, but the time it takes to pull off the simplest animation is too long 😢, thats why i moved to digital art. Atleast u dont have to make one art piece a million times.

I like it but the element shift happens way too frequently.

I tried something similar for making a good Wallpaper Engine background, just separating by what i wanna animate (bangs, eyes etc.), but seeing you pick apart several dozens of parts made my jaw drop for a moment haha

Just like the old animated login screens god I miss them though mainly just watching them on RUclips and listening to the theme music alongside it

Hi @Vaank i have a question about legal on YT. Are you allowed to draw over / cut and prepare for animation, and animate someones Art? Like that "LOL Neeko" Splash Art. Do you need approval from the author? Or goes this under fair use somehow? Greetings :)
